Boom Gate Installation at Westmead Child Care Centre

Arrow Traders completed a boom gate installation project at the Westmead Child Care Centre. Our team had to install a new boom gate for the site’s entrance. The original boom gate’s arm was bent and damaged. Therefore, it needed to be replaced.

Preparation

Before installing the boom gate, our team conducted a scan of the area. As a result, they chased out concrete footpaths. With the installation of the new boom gate, we had to ensure the electrical components were compatible. Therefore, our team of professionals installed a brand new RCD protected power circuit.

Installation of Boom Gate

Our team supplied and installed the boom gate and all necessary accompaniments.

The boom gate we thought would be appropriate was the Ditec Qik7EH boom gate operator. It has a boom arm of 5.8m and is perfect for heavy duty usage.

Our professionals thought the boom gate in red would be most ideal. As a result, we could guarantee that drivers would be able to view the gate during day and night.

Due to the high visibility of the red, we could also guarantee that the gate was visible from a distance. Therefore, drivers would be aware of the gate and have more time to prepare.

Installation of Keypad

In addition to the boom gate, our team also installed the accompanying keypad. The keypad was attached to a bolt-down bollard. Therefore, our team was highly experienced in installing this product.

The surface was already concrete, and the bollard had a base plate. As a result, our team was able to install this bollard efficiently.

We had to ensure the bollard was placed close enough to the kerb, so that drivers could reach it if necessary.

They drilled four holes into the ground, aligned with the bollard’s positioning. Our team then used DynaBolts to secure the bollard and cleaned the surface.
